challenge

Hi fellow bloggers - where does the time go? Hope you are all well and finding time to craft. I have finally managed to get a card done for this week. We had to use a sketch this week's  LiM challenge   and here is my interpretation as I am sending this card to a friend who lives many miles away. I am also entering this for the Sweet Stampin challenge - "anything but a birthday"

I have used:
  • Leilani stamp from me and my big ideas - it makes me think of sunnier/warmer places!
  • memento black ink
  • promarkers
  • spellbinders odd dies
  • bazill bling lime - reverse side because the colour is more vibrant
  • K&Co mat pad - monochrome
  • odd stamp for sentiment
  • gems

new technique for me

Hi fellow bloggers
unfortunately life and work have got in the way of crafting this past few days. However my friend has her birthday this Friday so I decided to make her a bracelet and put it in a posh box!!. I got the gems and cords from Jewellerymaker.com and the button from my button box - hope she likes it.

Hopefully I can get back to cards and things by the weekend. Hope you are all well.

Lime & Green again

This is definitely a great colour mix - I am entering it for the LiM challenge as my third entry of the week

[The mark is on the camera screen - oops!]

This time I have used a plain black oblong with rounded corners to underlay the Martha Stewart punched border and then used a Creata heart frame on top with a love sentiment inside the bottom of the heart. The other touch is 2 black card candi
at either end of floral strip.

LiM 114 - 2nd entry Lime and Green [not vodka and lime!!]

Hi again fellow bloggers
Monday again and back to work but here is my second version of a Lime and Green thank-you card.
This time - using the same card - I cut out an image with one of my new Dlites by spellbinders in Lime Bazill and overlaid the fancy image on a black background. The sentiment was stamped in Brilliance white ink on black and edged with white. Both images were then layered over lime green patterned ribbon.

LiM114

HI Fellow bloggers - hope you are having a good weekend. Sadly here it is still very cold - only 3degrees - brrr! and we had snow falling again this afternoon - I so wish the spring would arrive.
Still crafting weather so not all bad Lol!
This week the LiM challenge was to use Lime and Black for the colour scheme.
I really like this colour scheme and am using it for a couple more cards.
I have made one of my ever popular thank-you cards as I always seem to need them.
I have used plain black card and the reverse of bazill bling in lime.
The centre strips are made using a Martha Stewart punch. I have punched out two black strips and slightly overlapped them and then placed a lime green punched strip on top in the centre.

The sentiment is a watermark embossed in clear as I thought it would make a nice effect but I think it looks better in real life rather than on the photo.

Cars!

Hi fellow bloggers - Easter Monday already and back to work tomorrow. having been under the weather for a while it will be good to get back to business as usual.
Hope you all had a pleasant Easter break.

This card was a quick one for a friend who wanted a male card with a car. I added ink from a grey shadow pad by hero arts and peacock feathers distress ink by ranger direct to card through a stencil. Then stamped the car in Smokey Grey Stazon and edged the die cut with peacock blue. All the dies used were spelllbinders. I used a stamp from a set by Joanna Sheen to add tyre marks as I think this male would have liked to be a bit of a boy racer if he had the chance!
