christmas card

Hi fellow bloggers
I am starting on my christmas cards so that I don't have a last minute rush :). . I have used a printed background paper and sttencilled on a couple of deer using the waste from a spellbinders die cut and wild honey distressed ink. The diecut deer was then added with a stickles red nose. Glossy accents added to some areas for texture and the card edged with wild honey ink. The string was dyed with the distress ink too and the sentiment and banner is by tonic.

LiM entry - something tactile

Hi fellow bloggers
This week we have been asked to add a 3d element so decided to look at some old stash for inspiration as the sky is grey and I am missing the sunshine. I found some mulberry paper flowers which I layered up with a brad to hold together and drew in the stem and handcut the pot. The sentiment is a mini one I have had for many years but I thought it suited the flower. The sides of the card were given a score line with my Scorit as wasth base of the sentiment. Sadly my photography skills are a bit lacking.

A bit more time to craft challenge - anything goes

Hi again fellow bloggers
Here is my entry for this challenge - it is a birthday card for a friend.
I have used a clarity stamp that I stamoed 4 times to make the base image. Then used an anna griffin stamp for the butterfly and added a couple of colour flashes to link to the mirrir card layer.
The sentiment is by Tonic as are the die cut banner and layer. The sentiment is stamped with black memento ink pad.

LiM challenge - one layer - repetition

Hi fellow bloggers
It has been a while but now back with my blog. I have used a spellbinders die to stencil a flower shape through and then used a cardio butterfly stamp to add the repetitive pattern asked for. I used a docrafts inkpad for the background and dusty concord distress ink for the butterfly images, The sentiment is a section of a stamp from Clarity stamped with dusty concord, edged with a cardio half flower and higlighted with two marks using a pen top.
