A bit more time to craft challenge - anything goes

Hi again fellow bloggers
Here is my entry for this challenge - it is a birthday card for a friend.
I have used a clarity stamp that I stamoed 4 times to make the base image. Then used an anna griffin stamp for the butterfly and added a couple of colour flashes to link to the mirrir card layer.
The sentiment is by Tonic as are the die cut banner and layer. The sentiment is stamped with black memento ink pad.

Using the latest free die from Docrafts Creativity magazine

Hi fellow bloggers
I hope you are all enjoying the longer days and  crafting time.
It is a while since I managed back in blog land but here is todays project - a card and matching envelope and a gift bag.

For the card I used the die cut twice and placed together with a stamped sentiment and trimmed with an EK Success edge punch that I coloured with sakura gel pens. The sentiment was backed with matching paper to the die cuts and raised up on sticky pads. Some of the die waste was used to decorate the card corners. The remaining waste was used for the envelope - back and front. The bag was also decorated with the die cut and the larger waste and had also been embossed with one of the Anna Griffin large folder.

Happy crafting :)

LiM entry - Green and Yellow

hi fellow bloggers
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend? I decided to use Kraft card for the challenge this week- as when I had made the card elements I thought that it suited Kraft card rather than my normal white.
I have used Ranger distress inks for the main mat and also on the other elements to tone them in,

The main mat is one of the direct ink on acrylic block and spritzed with water technique [here is the tutorial link - http://whiffofjoy.blogspot.co.uk/2015/02/hintergrund-mit-acrylblock.html]. The stamp is an old one from my stash - stamped with cocoa memento andcoloured with shades of yellow promarkers and edged with distress ink. The die cut is from Anna Griffin and cut down and re pieced  to suit the size of the mats. The bottom mat is green card again inked with the same distress ink. The envelope was inked and stamped to match.

Using my new anna griffin die

Hi fellow bloggers - I hope you are having a good weekend and getting some crafting time!
I recently bought some anna griffin dies - really tried not to:)

Anyway this is the first card I have used one of them with - I have cut out quite a few for playing with Lol! The script stamp is an old one from my copious stash! I stamped it with Memento London Fog. The hearts are cut from red vellum using a small sizzix die from the big shot starter kit. The centre die is actually 2  dies cut and then trimmed and joined together to fit the card. The same script stamp was used for the envelope inner.  -  happy crafting  I am entering this in the http://die-cut-divas.blogspot.co.uk/2015/02/words-quotes-sentiments-just-for-you.html
I hope the script meets their words criteria.

sizzix thin die

Hi again  fellow bloggers -   Still managing to keep up my stash attack!!
For this card I used a sizzix frame die, cutting out of black spotted glitter card, but only used the inner which I offset with a silver version. The back ground is stamped using a La Blanche panel stamp twice. Thes stamps are so detailed and very light to use although you sometimes need to be careful not to catch the stamp edges. The die cuts were layered on the stamped background. I then made a floral topper using a part of my anna griffin die  - I layered two together using a dimensional pad and then added a black gem,
I think I may have set the die cut a little low on the base card - what do you think?

No 3 using AG die

Hi fellow bloggers :)
Here is another way that I have used this die - I really like this die and it is more versatile than I originally thought.
This time I have used the outer of the die and cut it down so that one part decorates the front and back at the top of the card and one the bottom of the front. I have then used a piece of the scrap from the die cut in red mirri card to mat the sentiment on, The parcels are from one of my spellbinders xmas die sets. The gold card is from my stash.

This is the front of the card and I have added cupcake gel stickers from Paperchase to the centre of each of the flowers.

The card is from my stash.

The back of the card is decorated with half of the floral panel.

Thankyou card using new die

hi fellow bloggers :)
This week I received my new Anna Griffin floral dies and have used one of them on this card. I am also using up some of my old stash card stock.
I have used the outer of the die cut and matted it onto a cream card that has been embossed with a creative expressions tied together embossing folder. The sentiment has been made using a Sizzix thinlits set with matching stamps. I have used the frame stamp and die. The stamp was used with cocoa memento ink. The card was finished with some punched butterflies.

LiM - Theme 321

hi fellow bloggers didn't manage the challenge last week so had to make an effort to get the time this week.  Also I will try to visit this week too.

The theme for this weeks LiM is 3-2-1 and I have gone for 3 flowers of which 2 are brown and 1 is bright yellow. These are all from Petaloo. The sentiment is from Anna Griffin [old set] stamped in cocoa memento and the gold strip is double sided tape foiled with Kanban foil. - think in retrospect that I would have preferred a thinner stripe.
