LiM - one layer

Hi fellow bloggers - I hope you are all well and crafty :)
I am a bit later with this challenge this week as was attending workshops and demos at the weekend.
The theme for the LiM challenge this week is to make a one layer card to show a favourite flower. I chose the pansy as they are my joint favourite with sweet peas but don't have a sweet pea stamp.

I made a mask so that I could stamp a circle shape. I used distress inks for the stamping and used cardio peg stamps. I also used the scorit to give a little background interest and the faux hanging chain.

LiM entry

Hi fellow bloggers - hope you are all well - I have been trying to sort out some of my stash this week so not much done but have managed an entry this week for the theme  things that make me happy.

One of my favourite things are pansies as I love their faces as they make me want to smile, so I have used peg stamps with pansy flowers for this card. I have used distress inks - dusty concord, chipped sapphire and sage moss together with brilliance  moonlight for the butterflies. I used my water brush to soften some of the edges. The backing paper is sizzix sizzlit and I have used purple cord for the contrast. Also used my scorit tool for the embossed lines - although they don't show up so well in the photo. The envelope is given an edge to match with an embossed butterfly on the flap.

2 more cardio cards

Hi again fellow bloggers
I liked the last cardio card so much I decided to make 2 more with matching envelopes too. I again used ranger inks and also scored off the panels with the scorit tool. I think it justs frames the stamped image in a tidy way.

One Layer card

Hi fellow blogger
his time I have had another play with cardio stamps using some more delicate ink colours from my distress inks palette.
The  stamped image was framed with my scor it tool
This is a one layer card and the cardio stamps suit this technique really well. The envelope was also decorated on the flap to match.
I am entering this card in the following challenges: -

Back in Blogland

Hi fellow bloggers
Here is my first batch of christmas cards

I have started on my christmas cards as have a few days off. This is stamped with a stampendous stamp that I have had for years. The centre of the poinsettias is puff paint for some dimension. The sentiment is on a spellbinders circle diecut backed with a dlites medallion diecut. The card is edged with the ink used for the poinsettia - Rangers distress ink -
worn lipstick. The sentiment is inked with Pesto adirondak ink.

These two sets are stamped with a cardio stamp set I have had for about 6 years. The maroon ribbon is from Mei crafts. the gems are from a set I got from Docrafts and the sentiments are peel offs which I have also had for ages and never used. The inks used are all Rangers distressed inks. Some have been embossed with my Scorit. The envelopes have a small image on the flap to match the wreath.
