  • sakura glaze pen [to go over the stamp sentiment]

LiM entry - theme colour Aqua

Hi again - here is my entry for this weeks LiM challenge. As the colour is Acqua I had a bit of a hunt to find the right ink pad. However that then led to a happy discovery as I rediscovered my cosmic shimmer embossing powders which give a subtle mica glow which is nice. That's the beauty of the LiM challenges you have to have a think about what to use and then where to find it !!
I also used a Joy die which gives you two parts so I inked through the frame edge with the aqua ink and embossed to give a bit of definition to the circle which is raised on sticky pads. Then jsut used a corner rounder punch to finish off.
I have used:

  • an orphan dog stamp with flowers in his mouth + orphan squiggle
  • a sentiment from a Debbi Moore designs set
  • acqua petal point ink pad
  • matching cosmic embossing powder.
  • Joy craft die that gives you a central circle and a scalloped frame from the same die.

LiM 52

hi fellow bloggers - here is my entry for this weeks LiM challenge which is based on a sketch.
I found the stamp I used very temperamental re ink it would work with! However Memento saved the day and I decided to go for a monochrome look. I have used: -

  • floral border stamp from the V&A selection by papemania
  • Black memento ink
  • scor it for outlining the image
  • sentiment stamp from Forever Friends set [I think] -

I really need to put stamps back where they come from as I am not so good at that - the unmounted stamps get all mixed up! I should have added that to my resolution list.lol!

LiM theme = birds

hi bloggers here is my entry this week for the LiM challenge. I have used: -
  • Adirondak lettuce ink pad
  • Stamps from a set by Dawn Bibby
  • scor it
I have been playing with my nesties and used one of the negatives to ink through with the lettuce ink, then stamped over with the birds. After stamping the sentiments I outlined with the scor it but unfortunately it doesn't show well on the photo - also the lettuce ink looks more yellow than in real life.
