SAY NO TO HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Had to do it!

Well I have made the leap and ordered a cricut gypsy - got a good deal from craft superstore. It will be a better way to spend my time on the train when I visit relatives as I should be able to design cards etc to cut when I get back to the cricut. Also bought 2 of Tim Holtz new dies the birdcage is so fab. I cut out some in balsa wood and am going to make a mobile. I will post it when finished.

Still trying to sort out my stash but now have a better idea of what I want to keep and what to let go - so some progress. However it is some job although probably don't need to tell anyone that as I am sutre most crafters have to deal with this situation at some point.

hooray!

I have finally found out how to upload pictures on here so that I can add some of my cards. I have been using Bazill card which I really love to use. The only thing I now need to find is my camera so that I can add cards that I am unable to scan - this is quite a journey of learning new things.
Used a stamp from one of Dawn Bibby's QVC sets - the images are really cute.
Used the sissix breast cancer texture plate and more of the Bazill card
Used my lovely Bazill again with Martha Stewart edge punch -  works well on this card - and Papermania fabric flowers. I lover the richness of these colours.

Back again!

Well it has been a while but now able to get back on my blog. Welcome to my new follower "anniesplace". I  hope not too many of you have had problems with the Icelandic volcano - nature is such a powerful force that seems to remind us every so often. I hope it doesn't mean that we won't get a summer though.

Craft wise I have begun to get back into card making again recently - just as well because even though I wasn't crafting I felt I still had to buy stash!!.

Went to the Ally Pally in April and took a non crafting friend. It was a great show and got to see lots of lovely crafting goodies although everytime I found a stall selling Tim Holtz new sissix dies they had sold out of the birdcage!! Anyway back in Scotland and back to work so trying to work out what sort of storage will work best and give me a good work area.

I have bought  some more cricut carts from Custom Crops - so playing with my small cricut. If I find I am going to use it more I am thinking of getting a gypsy but will wait and see. It would definately make travelling to London a less boring journey on the train.
