New cards for life

Not been crafting so much lately due to other things getting in the way but did manage a further 3 cards for live for the docrafts campaign - 5 more to do before I drop them off at the cancer research shop!
The top one used sissix embossing folders for background and sentiment. the sentiment used cordinations card whicj was also used with an ek success border punch for the edges.

Cards 2 and 3 are using one of my Kanban TSV stamps from QVC a month or so ago.  They have been coloured with promarkers and stickles. I have used sissix embossing folders and ek success and martha stewart punches.

By the way thanks to all kind comments on my LiM post. I'm not sure how you can build the message into the blog yet.

For this card I used:-
  • nesties
  • sissix embossing folder
  • floral topper
  • coordinations
  • text sticker coloured with promarker

For this card I used:-
  • nesties
  •  red ribbled card mat
  • kanban stamp coloured with promarkers

LiM - one layer in the frame

Hi This my entry this week
I have used: -
  • waste from a nesties curved rectangle die cut
  • Q chalk ink pads in two shades of blue for the sky and water
  • smirk stamp
  • versafine ink pad
  • grey, blue and blender promarkers
I temporarily attached the waste to the card with postits and inked through.
Then stamped the fishing boat and coloured withpromarkers to give a bit of definition without adding too much colour and added hand written text.

finding it hard to leave comments

Not sure if it is blogger or me but I am having problems trying to leave comments on the LiM challenge entries it keeps saying I am not signed in but when I resign in it still won't accept the comments so am giving up til tomorrow!!

Less is More Entry

I have finally got back to my blog and having a go at this weeks challenge which is monochrome for the theme. I decided to go with duck egg blue and a darker tone of the same.
I have used:
6" card blank
coordinations as the mats
petal point pigment ink
clear enamelling magic for the image and the text
hero arts wild flower stamp
nesties deckled mega rectangles

I did nearly add some ricrac ribbon but stopped myself!! I am listening Chrissie.
