I have tried making a shambala style bracelet with some of the gemstones [faceted fire agate] I have bought from JM. Here is the result: - I quite like this macrame technique and am going to have a go with some different gemstones - I have ordered some fresh water pearls so will post next week if they look ok. I have worn this one as I wear quite a bit of brown and the sliding knot is such an easy mechanism for adjusting the size.

Love your bracelet Bea, i was really interested to see it as I am intrigued by how to make these....have recently had a go at jewellery making and really enjoyed it (really shouldn't start any more hobbies!!!!!) :0)

Thanks Diane your comments are much appreciated I learnt the technique from a knotting DVD that I bought from Jewllerymaker.com - hope you have loads of space as jewllery making grows on you and your surroundings lol!
